Where is the best place to see the fireworks without going to the strip?

Sunrise mountain, Summerlin, Henderson. But they will be tiny.
You can park at the Gold Coast/Rio or Palms and walk over to the Strip or near it.
You could also watch it on TV, which would be the warmest and no driving home later.

I hope I don't give away too much...but we lived in Spring Valley. On Lindell going north from Spring Mountain Blvd, there is a hill and ridge that overlooks the Strip. There are a few open lots there...perfect view.

Last few years there have only been maybe 10 others with us.

We used to park at Rio employee lot, then went to Gold Coast parking lot early, now drive or walk over to Lindell. Easy to leave after.

Sorry! I should have ensured on a map instead of my memory. When you drive those streets so it becomes more habit than observation, you know? Heck, I didn't know the name of the exact street, but know now.

Twain and Edmond. Go north on Edmond (Edmond is between Lindell and Decatur) - there are a few open lots there on the hill overlooking the Strip.

Unless someone has built there in the past 8 months since I've been over in that area!!!

I'd put a map but don't know how. Going down Twain toward strip, there is a small road (Edmond) on your left before Decatur.

Gee macgeek, I'll watch for your car. I've the yellow mini that careens through your area on the way to work (Lindell to Supai to Twain.)

Lots of people gather around Lone Mountain to watch the displays, you also got fireworks from either Texas Station/Santa Fe/Suncoast and various other casinos around the valley that night too.

The top level of the parking garage at the Rampart gives a nice panoramic view of fireworks on the Strip and anything north of it, including North Las Vegas.
