When I was in college at Kent State my roomate had some snakes. I actually moved itno his house so and due to space he had to keep one of them in my room. It was a big son of a *****, and I tolerated him feeding it mice, but the snake got very big and he started feeding it rabbits. Thats when I said enough. I ended up moving out for the last three weeks of the semester.

Snakes are awful, hideous creatures. One of the of few things I love about Vegas is that you usually do not find them here.

Good thing you took off...the next level on the food chain sounds like it would have roomates!

In 20 years living in Vegas, I've only seen 1 snake. Nothing too big but it was a few feet in length, really skinny, and I watched it slither into my neighbors yard... CREEPY!

My mom hates snakes so much that she can't even look at them on tv.

He looks to be good size and would probably eat a full size mouse or small rat. You may want to give him 1 or 2 more of those pinkies. That way he is isn't hungry! And you do thaw them out in warm water for an hour or two first, right? Frozen food could cause him to regurgitate, which is really gross to find lying in the tank. I have a corn snake that looks to be smaller than that one and he eats a full size adult mouse once a week.

After 46 years in Vegas I've never seen a snake in town. Up in the mountains, yes, but not around here (knock on wood). I hope I don't find one in my garage now. I do have a mouse in the back yard that keeps eating holes in the box I keep the bird seed in. He feeds the birds and they love him. I tried to shoot him with my Daisy Red Ryder carbine but I missed.
