Personally, I prefer to play the "other machines":

Las Vegas Pinball Hall of Fame Pinball Museum, Nevada NV, Tim Arnold

This guy has a great collection of the older electro-mechanical pinball machines from the 1940-70s. Unlike most MUSEUMS, you get to actually PLAY the machines which is pretty cool.

There are lots of fun activities in Las Vegas - try Outdoor Las Vegas Activities, Adventures And Extreme Things To Do for starters. Grand Canyon is a must see if you haven't yet! My personal favorite is Valley of Fire, and Death Valley should be fun great in winter. Zip Line that you mentioned is very, very fun. You could try indoor skydiving, balloon rides and horseback riding.

Also you could rent a houseboat on Lake Mead Lake Mead Houseboats with Video, Tips, Rentals, Marinas and House Boats - no experience needed! I am just not sure if you can do that in January.

Isn't there a second, longer zip line out away from Las Vegas?

That looks fun! Growing up we had one of these:

Bally Fireball pinball machine 1972 - collector buying

I thought it was a bug. So much for that.

back in about 1991 or sooo .....Popular science published an article about a new tracking system that could identify an aircraft from the trals left on their devices ..... The showed something ike 10 differant trails and identified the aircraft tyoe and speed on each one.....Boeing 707, Xessna 172....etc etc etc the identified aircraft type, speed, direction...

The last tracing on the chart was "unknown aircraft staveling West from the Nevada Desert to the Central Pacific ocean and return ....Speed in excess of 5,000 MPH
