I hope everyone is well. I just wanted to introduce myself. My husband are a young couple and are moving there in Feb to take care of a family member for a while. We are looking forward to networking and meeting positive people. Of course we will be seeking employment as well. I know that the market there is not good but we have no choice but to move there to help out. We will be okay for a good while financially though.

We have worked in the following industries: law, corporate (admin), photography, and IT. Any help or advice would be appreciated (please no adult industries/positions thanks). However, we will be grateful for any job in the hospitality field as well (rest., casino, etc.) Even if you don't know of any jobs, feel free to introduce yourselves. We look forward to meeting you :-)

Howdy! I know a while back the Cosmopolitan casino was hiring IT people, with no prior experience, to work helpdesk for $14/hr. Not sure if they still need bodies??? I know MGM International (once was known at MGM/Mirage) had laid off their ENTIRE IT staff (~200 bodies) so they could outsource the work. I've heard rumors they realized their mistake & will at some point be hiring again - not sure when that will happen.

LinkedIn or Dice webpages might be of help to you ?

There is a new restaurant opening in Tivoli Village (Cantina Laredo) and they are hiring.
Good luck.
