It doesn't have to be a long trail, 1 mile is ok. I don't mind walking in circles

I'm looking for a park that I can walk around for a while and later have a picnic or relax and read under a tree.

Any other parks w/ walking trails besides the one I listed below?

Spring Valley Community Park - Spring Valley - Las Vegas, NV | Yelp

Came back to edit ...

Or am I better off going to the Springs Preserve? I really like that place and plan to get the membership.

I've seen that site but it didn't have parks w/ trails in Spring Valley, it was other areas, even though that was the heading.

I appreciate you trying to help!

Too bad you aren't in the southeast - Heritage park has the 2 mile paved perimeter walking trail that is very nice.

I totally want to live in Henderson. Not sure where in Henderson exactly, but that's the goal w/ moving back. It's just more affordable to start elsewhere.

I looked online at the park you mentioned ... wonderful!

My wife and I walk/jog at Cornerstone Park on Wigwam/Stephanie in Henderson every other morning or so. Nice, fairly level 1.25 mile loop around a "pond" (ok, it's a drainage pond, but whatever), with an option to do hills if we choose. Lots of little parks like that scattered around the valley.

The wigwam wash trail is mostly shady during the early morning until noon.

I'm assuming you're referring to Pittman Wash?

That sounds nice! I little pond (drainage is ok ;-) is better than no water. It's amazing how walking around an area w/ a little water makes a difference ... well for me it does. Unfortunately it's opposite of where I'll be staying when I get back. Good for future reference. Thank You

Plenty around in Spring Valley. Google it and look at the Satellite photos.
