This is $5000 system. Generates up to 353kWH / month based on 5 hours of sunlight each day. Being in LV, 8 hours of sunlight is plentiful easily.

I have zero panels and a $40/month bill. So I can keep waiting until solar becomes so affordable that it pays for itself in a matter of months, not years. This is what a solar salesman recommended that I do. (Great guy, horrible salesman. Talked me right out of solar and right into energy efficiency.)

No, gas everything where it matters. Why on earth would anyone want an electric furnace, range or water heater? Gas is cheap. It's the one utility that I don't even think about. I could almost look under the couch cushions and find enough to pay the gas bill.

The place I am looking to buy doesn't have gas available at the street.

ON the bright side, you can generate electric but not gas from your own property unless you eat tons of burrito with extra beans. HEHEHE.

Offer has been accepted on the house!

Yah. I'd never buy a house without gas service.
