I just got the little card in the mail that was the follow up to the larger packet.

@momofvegasgirls on this follow up card near your address under the bar code it has the 14 digit numerical code that you need to enter the census site online if you want to complete it. It takes less than 10 minutes.

There's a glitch in the matrix.

I've gotten three emails from the US Census now confirming my electronic submission. One on the 29th, one on the 31st at 8:30 am, and now one on the 6th at 8:40 am. A Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Here I was worried I wasn't going to get a confirmation and now I've gotten three. Anyone else having a similar issue?

This isn't the official census. It looks like they are conducting "surveys" in preparation for the official 2020 census. (Sorry for some reason this isn't posting as a link).

Are You in a Survey?

Thanks, Merry Lee Gather! I got one of those postcards and put it to the side of my desk. I'll have another look. I must say, the whole "It's mandatory" thing is very un-census like.
