Imagine my surprise.

I'm definitely NOT picking on you in any way. Just my sense of humor.

Las Vegas Roadrunners.

The ECHL team was the Wranglers. They played at Orleans Arena but I think 2014 was their last year. There was another team in the ECHL called Alaska Aces. Maybe another Air Force connected name like Drones would work, or Camo Dudes like the guards at Area 51. The Air Force has Generals, which is not taken in the hockey world.

Then again if there are Los Angeles Lakers maybe Las Vegas Sharks would make just as much sense. There are a few dozen sharks in LV, but the place called Lake Los Angeles is dry.

There already is a NHL team called the sharks, they were just in the championship

I kind of like the Las Vegas Mirage name, but my guess is that Foley isn't trying to give free publicity to MGM. Although they are partners on the arena sooooo.....

There is a rumor that they are down to 3 names The Red hawks, the Night hawks and the Desert Hawks. If those are our 3 picks I would go with the Night Hawks
