Wells is over 400 miles north. I doubt if it was felt here unless maybe you were up in a highrise. Since the 60's I have felt only one earthquake here. It was centered fairly close in California near the Nevada border. Never even felt it when nukes were being tested on the other side of the Sheep Range. I have put my ear to an outside wall at the time of detonation to try and feel them but never did. I have felt a lot of construction blasting lately near Lone Mountain though, and I wish they would go away.

Something woke me up around that time, so it might have been the earthquake. I woke up and looked around and went back to sleep.

I was in Las Vegas for a few days from California and at 6:02 and 6:05 I felt the earthquakes. My family slept through it in their rooms. The hotel was shaking and the floor was moving beneath my feet. I was concerned because I heard cracking in the walls and was wondering how strong the tremors were going to get.
