Are you going to be moving out here, then looking for work? Or attempting to apply/interview while still in Florida? If it's the latter, I would highly recommend having a local address for your resume (You can get one through the UPS Store), and also be ready to come at a moments notice. Prospective employers will basically contact you on Tuesday and say "can you come in tomorrow for an interview"? It's almost their way of weeding out the people that they think aren't serious. I'm on my third attempt of trying to get hired in LV, and even with a local address, I'm coming up on dead ends.

Good Luck. I'm sure everyone has said it already, but definitely make sure you have at least a couple of months living expenses saved up. Also, be willing to take anything in the interim until you land what you are looking for.

Yeah I'd say I could live there for about 3-4 months before it became an "issue"

Many "community" hospitals are under construction in Clark County. Two are on West Flamingo and 215, the other on Fort Apache and Twain, both in the Spring Valley area. Also a similar community hospital has sign up on Sahara/Decatur area. Apart from the large main hospitals in Clark County, there many rehab hospitals with satellite locations around like Kindred, HealthSouth, Mountain's Edge all located in the Spring Valley area.

Aside from the Medical District, Spring Valley has a large concentration of hospitals in Clark County, whether they are the large chain hospitals, rehab or VA facility.

Goodluck with your plans.

@ Mary lee

Our politicians and elected officials should have focused more on the Medical School at UNLV instead of the stadium. Imagine spending 750 million in a state of the art medical facility and attracting the best medical professionals but no their priorities are messed up including nearly sabotaging a main driver for growth in Clark County, the convention center, with their all out support for the stadium.

With the Medical school, the city will attract quality people and eventually could potentially attract medical tourism if it wants to go that route.

Unfortunately healthcare and education typically are the lowest priority in our society, but we'll take what we can get.

While I think taxes are plenty high enough already, I would have rather had $100M spent on a medical facility than one penny spent for the billionaires to play games, much less $750M. One of the big spending state assembly politicians happened to be up for re-election on my ballot this time. And like I promised them when I called their office, I cheerfully voted for their opponent. It's the least I can do for morons who love to spend other peoples money.

So true it would have benefitted our society and economy even better if the taxes we collect could be prioritized toward education, healthcare and even transportation but instead, our elected officials are pretty much puppets of the billionaire resort owners and the taxi mafia.
