We're having a pumpkin carving party tonight at my store and I need to pick up a bunch of medium and large ones for a fair price. Anyone seen any good deals on them? Can't go out of town to any pumpkin patches unfortunately. Thanks!

Thanks but am not a member, any other ideas? We need a bunch and the prices on the large ones I've seen in places like Smiths so far have been crazy.

Trader Joes had medium sized ones for $2.99 I believe, that's the best price I've seen. Smith's near me had some nice looking large pumpkins at .29 per pound.

Were the ones at Trader Joe's large enough to carve would you say?

Yes, they were a little on a smaller side, but still carve-able.

I don't know if they still do this, but you used to be able to get a 30 day pass at Sam's for no cost, but a 10% premium on total purchase price.
