By what metric is it the best economy in the history of the USA? Or did you just get your information from your polluted Facebook feed?

How much is debt? Is that at the highest level ever? Is that the metric you use? LMFAO

I don't know why I bother with these threads anymore, who cares who you support politically?

Can we stay on topic, or does every thread turn into one defending/slamming the president?
Do a little research on your own.

Furthermore, adding QE to the equation should also be a tell tale sign as that is what the Fed had to do for years to get us out of the last recession.

You really ought to turn off Fox news.

No, I already moved to a much better country than the US. I had a good time and made my money, don't get me wrong, but it is a country that saddens me almost every day I couldn't take it anymore and there is no fixing it because of the old and stubborn that put money before people

Despite the Trumpians' insistence otherwise, there is a middle ground. I am not in favor of a totalitarian state, which we are headed headlong toward with the current administration. As an example to refute your overly simplistic statement, not everybody who is against the border wall (a ridiculously expensive engineering nightmare that would take decades to complete, and which could easily be defeated by inexpensive drones for delivering drugs) is in favor of open borders. Dear Leader wants us to believe in absolutes, but life isn't that black-and-white. Except for perhaps the non-thinkers who grab everything that he pulls out of his (insert suitable orifice here) and swallow it whole.

the problem is that there may be no other choice..... a vote for neither dem or republican actually in my opinion will be a wasted vote..... I guess you go with the lesser of 2 evils...

To make it easy.
Socialism example
I own a company... 2 people in a room. 1 is my worker the other doesn’t work
After the job is done, I hand the worker 10 dollars.
Then I take 7 back, 2 go to taxes, and 5 goes to the person who didn’t work at all

I just hope the dems keep doing what their doing, making it easier to win again

Bernie Sanders, who I support, has never wanted us to be like Venezuela. We want the Nordic model which is a free market economy with strong social safety nets, which we lack. I remember you saying how you had some heart ailment which hit you very hard financially, even know you had good health insurance. Bernie Sanders wants to prevent that, while Donald Trump wants to take millions of people's health insurance away from them leaving them with nothing.

Not only is the vast majority of the population — 88% — happy with the system, its virtually free care for all means that no Finn has ever been in the red because of medical costs alone (though that doesn’t mean there aren’t complaints)."

"The “Nordic model” consists of strong welfare states funded by relatively high levels of taxation, which enable governments to provide high-quality education and health care for all"

"Then there is the quality of the system, in terms of patient care outcomes. Finland is one of the five countries with the lowest maternal mortality rates, and Finns have longer life expectancy than Americans. Finland also comes out among the top countries in the world for access to health care."

Isn't this exactly my point? Their healthcare system is far better than ours. Not only their healthcare, their whole country is far better than ours. Finland is #1 when it comes to happiness. All of the Nordic countries score higher than the United States. I guess the quote below is what you are looking for.

"Way back in 2013, the international Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development was already warning that Finland was lagging behind many other OECD countries in having high rates of unmet needs. At the time, more than 4% of Finnish people reported unmet medical needs due to cost, travel distance or waiting lists — a proportion significantly higher than in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands."

So Finland is the worst of the Nordic countries when it comes to healthcare at 4% reporting unmet needs. In the United States, 13.7% do not even have insurance. Then you have all the people who have insurance who cannot afford the deductibles. Thank you for the article which shows that the Nordic countries have a far better healthcare system than ours. I really appreciate it.

America's healthcare system is a joke. Pretty much any other country that isn't 3rd world has a better system.

It isn't the main reason I left, but it was a factor.
