I agree. I am moving out of San Diego to Las Vegas and starting to wonder why!!! Doesn't look like I'm really going to be saving much money at all - and I'm losing the beach!

Exactly. It would cost us $3000+/mo just in state income tax for the privilege of living in California (not to mention all the other inflated expenses).

Very true - but I took a paycut to move to Nevada - hopefully the Cost of Living to Income ratio is better in Nevada than in California!!! It's such a struggle in SoCal - and a bigger struggle for a household of one.

i took a paycut as well, but my take home pay was HUGE compared to california

Someone needs to make a new thread on the Costs of NV in 2022 vs certain parts of CA (nor cal, central valley, sacramento, san diego) and see the true costs of living differences. Since NV is getting more and more expensive, is it really worth it even if your taking a pay cut?
