Have you seen the signs they strap on their backs now that light up? I was on the strip last night after not being down there for a while. I had not seen those signs before. Are they not abrasive enough, they have to strap signs to their backs?

They should counter them with religious zealots snapping prayer cards right in the exact same area. Throw in some others snapping McDonald's coupons for Buy 1 Big Mac, Get one Free. All in the same exact area, inter-mixed. Jam up the streets with more of the like, then something will have to be done. Either they all can do it, or nobody can.

The aclu needs to get aclu(e).

i think it was because Fremont Street Experience was seen as a private entity and owns everything under the canopy (sidewalks, kiosks, and provides security), so i think they can control whats going on there...

Seriously, I think the snappers have gotten worse. A few weeks back there were like 15 of them in front of Paris, on that island between Paris and Planet Hollywood. *snap snap snap* That's all you could hear for a whole block. Literally trying to shove them in my hand as I walked by.

Another block over, some guy was handing out Buffet coupons. I looked at him and said "no", and kept walking... he actually yells out "why the hell not?" So I turn around and say "because if I get one more card shoved in my face I'm gonna shove it down someone's throat!" The look on his face was priceless.

*sigh* As hard as I try, sometimes the NYer in me just comes out of nowhere...

Ironically, it always seems to be on that side of the street, never on the other side, in front of Bellagio, Cesars, etc... is that side still privately owned?
