Don't hit that link...it is almost certainly a malware site...

Looks legit to me - as legit as a prostitution site can be that is. It's been there for over a year and google has it as the top hit for 'candyapplegirls' - malware sites tend to be fly by night and not so prominently indexed by google.

Dunno about that candy.com site though...

That should never be allowed. What if Steve decides the sidewalk is for his guest only and that everybody else has to pay a toll or walk in the street?

They are allowed free speech but the city can REQUIRE that the card snappers be LICENSED and that, as a condition of that LICENSE, they are required to pick up the litter on the street that came from them. The county I live in fines fast food places when excessive litter around them becomes a problem and they are required to have adequate trash bins in and out.

I have read a lot about the ACLU defending the snappers. Also, if you look, they are never in front of an MGM property, ever.

What I cant find is any actual reasonable links to an article saying that the ACLU has defended these guys. Maybe googleing "ACLU PORN Snappers" is not the right search term? But can any one actually post an informative link about this?

I also would not be a bit surprised to find out that MGM pays the companies that fund the snappers to stay the hell away from their sidewalks.

and in a completely off topic thread, I give legal prostitution about 4 years before its legal in Vegas. Vegas 2.0 is bus, and City Center is a bust as well. Then need something that you cant get any where else in the states, and hookers are illegal everywhere.
Back on topic, legalizing prostitution will almost certainly reduce the number of snappers on the street.

I never noticed that before but you are right. There are not "snappers" in front of MGM properties.

YOu are smoking too much weed.

The powers that be long since reached the conclusion that legal prostitution costs more than it makes. They are probably right.

Prostitution was legal in Rhode Island until a couple of months ago.
Its also legal in Canada. Although, now that you need a passport to go to Canada, that's not quite as friendly as it once was. Hooray for the war on terror though, keeping domestic hookers in business!

Actually, you're both wrong.

They are stationed all along the sidewalk running between NYNY and Monte Carlo. In fact, yesterday the heaviest concentration of card pushers was right in front of MGM's City Center sales office.
