And if I do make it to 82, with that hanging over my head, everyday thereafter I'll be thinking: Is this the day?

I'll have my casket, cemetery plot all picked out, my obituary written out ready for printing, and? I live another 10 years, and they were all off target!

I wish I had never had my palms read over there!

I sometimes joke with select patients in this LTC/Rehab facility I work at, when I hear a patient say: I'm dying! or: I wanna die!

Jokingly, I tell them I'm an expert palm reader and I'll tell them how long they'll live. I read their palms: Let's see now, you're 77, and in 10 years there'll be a miracle cure for you, and you'll finally resume your life for another 13 years, and then, out celebrating your hundredth birthday, you'll have a near-fatal car accident coming home from a bar, and you'll be living as a quadriliplegic the last 20 years of your life! Cheer up!

The past few posts make me think of the HBO special about hookers on the point and the narrator in particular. He would say things like:

Fresh meat, mean streets
New jacks....paybacks

And the inflection in his voice was cool...I sometimes mock that guy when I'm driving and I see girls working.

And that's all the randomness I'm gonna contribute for now.

I hope everyone is finding happiness in their own way.
