They were in Illinois big time. Came back to Las Vegas from Illinois last year with tons of bites. Haven't seen one here for 2 1/2 years. LOVE IT.

I'm surprised that this hasn't been more included in our campaigns to attract people to live here. How many would-be residents are aware of that, mosquito's would starve to death here. Even flies. Only 2 flies made it into my house this year, and once there, since they're such rare visitors, you want to feed them, make them pets, give them names, and if one dies, you give it a funeral!

This is something I've commented on to my wife when we visit Las Vegas, the total lack
of mosquito's and flys. Most everywhere else we go on holiday has them. Greece is the
worst, particularly Rhodes. Always come home covered in bites. Why are there no annoying
insects in LV? The answer is probably so obvious I'll feel a right prat..........

Roaches can survive anything. I wonder what areas in the world DON'T have roaches.

Time for some Google.

True and the fact that they survive anything gags me even more, BUT I don't think I had ever seen but maybe ONE in my entire life until I moved to LV and I have wandered around downtown Detroit...just not in the "hood".

What are the rules for having a slot machine or two on an aprtment complex? Anyone here know. Maybe in the common areas like the laundry room.

We have TV On The Radio, Arctic Monkeys, Smith Westerns, Warpaint, Kurt Vile & Two Door Cinema Club in town this weekend.

Boom.

For a town that usually gets passed through by so many acts...this is an exciting weekend.
