Autozone is hiring. Apply online. I saw it on their window when we ended up there Wednesday with a dead battery. I figure you may need to have some basic automotive experience and know how to remove batteries from cars, and other things.

One of MANY issues VW never took responsibilty for.
<~~~ Had to replace the transmission valve body at a tune of $1600 last year. Known defect. VW doesn't care. When I called them all they could offer me was $700 toward the purchase of a NEW VW
I am thinking I should have my water pump and timing belt replaced before I drive to Vegas. I'm at 60K miles so I am due.

Gary Waddell on Channel 8 news is retiring. After 32 years. I will miss watching him read the news. I have only been watching him for all the time we lived here. It will be weird. I guess Paula Francis will be next. She is also a news icon. She reminds me of my Mother. That's why I tune in.

Still waiting on A/C tech. Fan keeps starting and stopping, so we just stopped trying as we didn't want to fry out the compressor. When the fan does go, the air is cold. capacitors have been changed out. Hopefully it is just the fan motor. Rough night sleeping last night and I really don't want to face the "heat wave" that coming without air.
