I was able to get animal control out... the jerk has 24hrs to improve conditions (which he wont)... the dog will be taken to the lied shelter for 10 days...if he is not adopted, he will go to the german shepherd rescue of las vegas. Im not sure how I feel about all of this, but anywhere will be better than where he's at now..

The rescue groups are loving people that will find a good home for that poor dog. Maybe it won't even get that far and someone will adopt him at Lied.

Another update: The dog was picked up today by animal control. The "owner" was home and the officer gave him a choice of surrender the dog or felony charges... I wish he would have gotten felony charges either way. Now my next step is to help in the adoption.... His id number is a725444 and will be at the Lied shelter.... Once I get some photos, i'll post them. If you guys can help me by putting it up on your social networks, that would be great. I figure since my life is going to be saved (i hope), i'll do whatever it takes to get him a great home.. At least right now, he's in air conditioning....
