If I would have still been in my 20's, I probably would have healed up in 3 days. Not so easy now for some reason. But I will be back out there soon, and will avoid that one section. A little thing like falling will not deter me from continuing on to my goal.
I'm a great believer in that time is the greatest healer of all, and I'm blessed with enough patience with pain to let time take care of it for me for free.

I was kneeling too long one day on my right knee at a garage sale, 3 weeks ago, wading through old VHS tapes, and I developed this new pain in my knee I've never experienced before, very painful to touch. I've learned well, in the past, not to panic, run off to a Doctor when some new ailment visits my body.

Well, after three weeks, it has all but disappeared. Good riddance!

Next new visitor? I'm ready for ya!

I introduced my ferret to the Strip last night, first time, between midnite and 2am. Parked at the Riviera, walked around that area of the Strip with fewer pedestrians, photo's taken, him being held by strangers. One woman from France held him and remarked: I've never seen a more placid animal.
He just melts into the arms of strangers! So proud of him!

So he passed the test, he can deal with the noise and people on the Strip!

Tonite, we'll walk from the Stratosphere to the Sahara and beyond, but I don't think he's ready yet for the more trafficked areas of the Strip. Later!

We sure have enjoyed our walks around Hughes Corporate Center at nite as well.

Only problem is I think I'm creating a monster! He gets bored more quickly now walking around my neighborhood.

I apologize for saying 5th Street was part of Aliante. That area is North Las Vegas but it doesnt really have a specific name. I simply used Aliante because I could see the Aliante station from 5th Street, It didnt look too far so I felt safe to use the name for the Centennial/5th/215 area. But the shiny and new factor is nice. I like the quiet of the 5th/Centennial area and its distance from the strip

I had gone up to that Target to look for Xmas gifts for the gf. I texted google and typed "Target North Las Vegas" and ended up at the Target at 215 and 5th. It was SO FAR from Cheyenne and I-15 where her class was. Do you shop there Pink? I love the shopping center there, I just wish it wasnt so far
I am going to have to say that you are proving yourself more and more irresponsible with every post you make. You are flat broke because you waste what little money you have. You cannot even afford to register your car or pay for insurance, but then you can waste gas driving all the way up to North Las Vegas to buy a gift for your girlfriend that AGAIN you cannot afford. You would not listen to me but I urge you to get professional advice on managing your finances because apparently you cannot do it yourself.

Davie, yes we shop at that Target now and then if we happen to be going that way for something. It's also less congested getting to that one, just hop on the beltway by Aliante station and we are there. Plus having a Petsmart there now helps.

The Decatur Target is so congested.."They" say that there are less people all over the valley, and I sometimes wonder if they all hang out at Decatur/215 for the fun of it. Lots of accidents there lately as well.

Lvd, quit yelling at Davie. He can make up his own mind. He is a grown man, young, but grown.

I'll be ok. Time heals all wounds. The pain is located from my left elbow to my fingers. It's ok as long as I don't bump it. And guess what I do a lot? (bump it)

Tij, in the 99cent store, they sell those things to kneel on, made of rubber and something else. Come in pretty colors. I have green, yellow and orange. I take one with me to yard sales so if i have to kneel, I don't end up being stuck there. I have a bad knee on my left. Been that way for years. What is funny, when I do fall, I usually fix my knee for awhile. Right now it's good again.

Be careful with some of your nighttime wanderings. Some area's are not the best to be in alone at night with a ferret. Just be cautious.

You two don't get it. I made a friendly comment in another thread saying that I hope Davie does not get caught with his out of state plates, and he came back with a snide remark insinuating I should personally pay for his irresponsibility for bringing it up.

I did NOT literally insinuate you pay for my insurance and reg. Dont take everything you read literally.

Second of all, I was only that far up in NLV beacuse my gf takes a CSN class at Cheyenne and I-15, so I was ALREADY in NLV to begin with. Her car had no gas so I drove her. When I texted google and put in "Target North Las Vegas" it gave me the one on 5th Street and 215. I was already in the area to begin with. (NLV that is) The store was further than I thought though

Third of all my money situation has been gradually improving. Im still not up to par with all my bills but its slowly but surely improving. And as airics said, once I turned 21 Im likely to get in a casino sooner or later. If I can do that my situation will be much better. Im also looking into work for Adecco and Appleone Staffing services

I can manage my finances just fine LVD. I shop at the 99c Store, and Smiths to save money on food. I fill up my tank once every two weeks now, and it has cut my gas expenses. Im still however only making 1/2 the money I made in Florida, so its still a tight squeeze for me, but I WILL get through it come hell or high water

You know YOUR way is not always the the right way (no matter what you like to make yourself believe). Mine might not be either. But dont criticize everything I do, I dont criticize you. If I wanted criticism Id call my dad and listen to him. The fact is youve been wrong about a lot of things. You said my car would get repoed 2 months after living here, hasnt happened. You said I would hate living in Centennial Hills because it was so far, but I loved it

Im sick of you and your negativity. Im sorry but I cant be your friend anymore. If you didnt drink so much, you would not have taken that post so literally and then attack me on a totally different thread' Im changing my settings to ignore your posts. MMOB was smart in doing that. And quit going around about how poor you are. I know how much money you have in the bank so you aint fooling me.

You know if you didnt worry SO MUCH about money, maybe you've be happier. But whatever. Im not wasting my energy on you anymore

And Pink and airics are right. Im a grown man and I will make my own decisions. Money always pans out some how, I dont know how but it does. So I dont worry if I make a long trip somewhere or spend on something nice or special

One last thing, dont say I couldnt afford what I was looking to buy my gf. You dont know because you werent there, because God Forbid you travel even one block north of the strip area. It was actually affordable on my budget and I KNOW she would love it.

I cant wait to get away from the strip area and back to CH. Too many people around here like you are bringing me down. Have a good day
