Time for the yearly trip! Those pesky grandkids just get one trip a year no xmas, no birthday, no extras. Just one trip. They love this and wanted the beach. 10 days in a house on the beach Yippie!
Looking at a map it seems like 15 will get me right to the 74 is this correct?

Ski the best way is 15 / 91/ 241/133 the last two are toll roads. You dont want to do Ortega Hwy (74).

The most scenic way USED TO BE up through wrightwood, over angeles crest highway thru to Azuza highway 39, down thru pomona/brea, up the 57 to beach blvd, left on PCH to main beach Laguna.

Now the fastest way is as posted: 15 / 91/ 241/133... but it sure isn't scenic.

I should add that 74 is real nice if you're in a sports car or sport bike. It's not nice after four hours of driving. Laguna is awesome though. Make sure to check out Crystal Cove while you're there: Welcome to Crystal Cove State Park | HOME

Love Laguna Beach and Orange County, I used to reside in Laguna back in the 80's. Enjoy the beach, scenery and the culture. If you will be there in June sometimes the June gloom will put a damper on certain days but enjoy nonetheless.

I basically grew up in those surround areas... Irvine, Orange, Villa Park. I would move back in a heart beat if I could afford it and if I knew there weren't going to be all that traffic.
