I don't want to immigrate now, I wanted to wait until things get better. Maybe there is bigger opportunity then ? Or even when these times are over I still wouldn't have any change ?

With the skill set you posted on "Australia" you will not find a US employer to sponsor you. Lack of academics, specialy skills and plenty of candidates in country who can legally work and start immediately.

That will leave you basically marriage, investment and (if qualified) lottery. No reason to go into details. If course you always have the option of working on your education and your job skills with the target of an intercompany transfer.

There'll be no difference once the economy improves and, unless during that time you complete an advanced degree and get some top-notch employment experience under your belt in a highly skilled and unique profession where an American citizen can't fill the bill, you'll have no more chance than you do right now. You really do need to go the first thread on this page and check out the immigration links. All the requirements and the answers are there for you. Cheers!

Thanks for your answers.
Yes, I did read these sites now.
But still, I'm not going to give up about US.

US would be my first choice but I was just wondering would this all be easier in Australia ?

Thanks

Your best bet will probably be getting married to a US citizen. And even then your looking at 8 to 12 months to get a green card etc.

Didn't you already post on the Australia forum? I don't think anyone on this forum would have a clue as to what the immigration requirements are for Australia but I'm sure you can find out on the Australia forum if you haven't done so already.

I saw from a previous post that you're from Eastern Europe. If you have an EU passport, why not look for a job within the EU? Don't kid yourself that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence/ocean ... Good luck!

Then do something about it. Go to school which in the EU is free compared to the US.

Even buying a business over here won't give you access to a perminent visa...just a E2 for 5 years or 2 years and if your business is doing well it will be extended. If have kids while having your business and they aren't born here they have to leave the country when they turn 21....so not much rewards if you have a business over here for even 15 or 20 yrs...if you retire, you have to go back to the country you haven't lived in for all these yrs while having provided jobs to American's....crazy isn't it!
