Hey there, We are Two girls traveling to London in two weeks, hope you can helps us figure it out what are some good areas to stay that will allow us to explore London. We like handcrafted cocktails , coffee shops, try new restaurants, yoga, people watching, but we are into healthy eating, my gf is into running so somewhere where she can go for a run every morning, and some sightseeing. We don't necessarily stay in the middle of central London, we can stay somewhere 30 minutes away as long as is close to a train station and easy transportation.

There's a lot of parks in Central London including Hyde Park, Regents Park, St James's Park, Green Park etc, whilst further out you have places such as Hampstead Heath and Richmond Deer Park. I would book a nice hotel near one of the Central London Parks so you can enjoy a run, and there are even coffee outlets in some of the parks.
There are lots of coffeee shops and places where you can indulge yourself when it comes to cocktails.
Time Out London will offer you a good guide to events, cocktail bars, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, attractions etc.

Paddington/Bayswater/Queensway area... I've lived here all my life and LOVE it!!
It's got everything and you can get anywhere very easily...... Have fun
Anywhere in Zone 1 on the underground map should be fine, with west being generally better than east, and north of the Thames generally better than south.
We are staying at the Days Hotel in Waterloo. Its a plain vanilla budget hotel but its the only one I could find that had openings at a reasonable rate for our date.
You could probably go to Zone 2 on the left (west) side of the map.
