This question is mostly directed to W. Greenspan or residents of the greater New Hyde Park area. I was riding along Hillside ave. in North NHP and noticed a US post office that said Hillside Manor branch. I've heard of Hillside Manor but thought it was a neighborhood in Queens. This was clearly in Nassau County. I tried to look it up on Wikipedia and the CD website and found very little information on the place. I can't even tell if it's a hamlet or village. Being that it has a post office it must be a recognized area for the federal government. Does anyone have any information on Hillside Manor?

At this point in time, neither.

It would appear to be a postal branch (referred to as a postal station in New York City) of the "New Hyde Park, NY 11040" post office, which itself has a much different border than the Village of New Hyde Park.

Yep that was the zip code. Strange it was east of the Nassau border.
