So, if the troops aren't going to get paid then are their contracts null and void and they can come home?

You don't get to pick and choose what the government spends money on. Believe me, you wouldn't be too happy if you let me do so.

You hit the nail right on it's fat head. I also find it funny how apparently, not wanting to fund PP is considered "misogyny". Right, because there are no women against abortion.

As a Social Security recipient, it would infuriate me also, if a stoppage in funding, even a temporary lag in getting those checks out to us senior citizens, were to happen.
I take inference to your association between welfare benefits and S.S. benefits, they are not the same. We who are vested in the Social Security system, have paid our way.
We're not getting a, per se, "handout" from Uncle Sam, We made our payroll deductions, and we stand out in starkly obvious contrast, to those who have never made any real
or worthwhile contribution to the free lunch kitchen of this flawed system, the same government from where they draw sustanance. Whereas, we made investments in our S.S.
accounts, they made babies. We worked for our wages and our work was much more than a walk to the mailbox on checkday or ripping WIC food coupons out of a booklet.
I'm not pleased with the looming possibility that military personel might not get their bi-monthly pay, it represents an all-time low in the sorry new dimension, to which we are
rapidly declining. It's surely not the America of my father's time, and it won't be a fit place for my eight grandchildren either, but the saddest commentary? It is, what it is.

For some seniors, it's already kibbles and bits for the evening meal, raiding the goodwill box down by the library, for clothes or picking clipped cigarette butts out of those
ashtray topped, refuse receptacles at Target or Walmart. As surely as our servicemen deserve to receive their pay, so do we who are depending on these funds, that we may be
able buy our own food and clothing, and we cannot eat dirt. At least our servicemen over in Iraq or Afghanistan have government uniforms to wear and even if old Uncle Sam just
couldn't afford to give them food, they could always eat the sand which is there...

I live nowhere near there(about 4 hours), thankfully.

Oh, are you talking about the shooting where the moon bat lib parents were ignorant and oblivious to their messed up kids amassing firepower, and planning the event? Ok

Planned Parenthood has received federal funding since 1970, when President Richard Nixon signed into law the Family Planning Services and Population Research Act, amending the Public Health Service Act. Title X of that law provides funding for family planning services, including contraception and family planning information. The law enjoyed bipartisan support from liberals who saw contraception access as increasing families' control over their lives, and conservatives who saw it as a way to keep people off welfare.

PS, you can be against abortion and not seek to restrict the rights of others to have control over their own reproductive systems.
