It's on an path that is doomed, they can delay it but can't avoid it! The only issue is more delay means more pain in future! Same issue with Social security and medicare. LI taxes are nothing compared to them. Just see the wining margin in your district and compare to last year and see what direction its moving and it will give you an estimate when it will reach breaking point.

I wonder how many of the people who vote YES year after year, regardless of what the school budget proposal is, are going to move off island as soon as their kids are out of school?
