Been in two Compare Supermarkets....they are the cleanest neatest stores on the Island.

Yes they are, I was in one in bayshore once because they had a sale on chicken cutlets.

The aisles are very narrow though, at least the one in Wyandanch is.. but maybe the stores don't all share the same floor plan?

They all tend to be taken over from older, outdated locations that used to be other supermarkets. Farmingville was an old-school Waldbaums (reminded me of the old Patchogue Waldbaums), Middle Island was a King Kullen (I think?), and Wyandanch was a Associated Supermarket that turned into Compare pretty fast.

Or they steal them? They prob get low prices on stolen cars and then slap out of state plates on them...
