Buying a house in the s-section. Just wondering if any board members live there? Looks like a great place. I know about the schools, just curious about the neighboorhood. Thanks

Enjoy

Traffic like the cross bronx to the West and South at certain times but other than that a dynamite area.

Good choice, my favorite of the Strathmores.

My friend lives in the S Section and loves it after having moved here from Comsewogue/PJS. She has likened it to Mayberry. She said a lot of neighbors look out for one another and that it's a friendly place.

Best of luck with your move.

Thanks for the replies. Its a framingham ranch....love the look and size, which makes up for no basement.

rented there last year when in between homes..great neighborhood for families. The park at the top of the circle is a great asset as is the convenience to all the shopping on 347.

What are they going for now post boom?

Great house/floorplan despite the slab.
Ample garage and attic for storage.

I remember when the trees were little.

Thats a good buy...they were near 6 at the top. If youre on the circle please let the ones along the curb remain. The tree canopy in there is awesome.

One bugaboo.

Have your inspector check for problems with the water main near the boiler.
I know you need to break the floor/concrete should there have a problem.

Its the one thing that sucks about slab livin'
