Service is awful I have to agree withy that but the food is not terrible. The only thing I ever ate from there was the hamburgers, chicken fingers and waffle fries, Oh and Ice cream. Trust me there are worse places to eat, I think Apple bees has gotten worse.

Applebees and Denny's are inferior to Friendly's in just about every way.

yes I agree. Have only had denny's once in Florida but I had a toasted bagel LOL I don't know how the food really is. Last time i had Apple bees I got sick from the food.
Denny's is absolutely gross. I went to one in Florida and it was so bad I will never go to one again.
As for Applebee's, I prefer TGI Friday's. I hear Bennigan's has recovered from their near bankruptcy and wants to eventually return to Long Island. They also were pretty decent though not as good as TGI Friday's.
I will also miss buying Friendly's ice cream in the supermarkets. Shoprite sometimes has a half gallon for $1.99
