Funny thing, how they care so much about $afety with permits, red light cameras etc. But I guess when safety comes with a cost, it isn't necessary.

That's so unsafe. Take it from someone who was handed a driver's license while legally blind for the same reason. (In D.C., but same idea.)

Even people who pass the eye test still can't drive. With or without the eye test it does not matter because there are still morons on the road who can't drive.
