Just read this in todays Newsday on my morning break. Interesting...I agree there is not one really close enough for the area considering its population.
Someone mentioned this last week but I wonder where they would put it. Obviously it would not be some major hospital so it will be interesting to see where they plan it and who complains that it is too close to them.

Whatever happened to that small Massapequa General Hospital they had back in the 80's?
It closed down but I have no clue why or when... google will work but that would require me having to open another tab which is way too much work...while i'm at work.

That place was a relic back in the mid 1970's.
