Try haing a neighbor behind you that is in a different town....try explaining that to the police when they are shooting off mortar shell sized fireworks and blasting music until 2AM.
I grew up with all of this kind of nonsense..it's why I made sure when I bought a house to peruse the block and the block behind us....it only takes one fireworks loving/mini bike riding/5 dogs barking all night/outside stereo system blasting inconsiderate d-bag to make your life miserable.

In my case it was Frankie the wannabe mobster with his 5 PBA cards and handful of friends who supply all kinds of things that "fall off of trucks". Lovely people to grow up next to.
