I am seeking to sue myself and my homeowners insurance. I have part damaged from the hurricane to me home. which they have taken to long to send the adjuster to fix it,and my relative and I received bodily harm. Can I do this?

It is possible to sue yourself...there's a famous singer that sued himself for child support so that he could control the payments - in favor of the kids, he didn't shortchange them.

while there are a few cases where people have tried that the reality is no you cant since you cant get a judgement to collect your own money.
in most cases suing yourself is akin to an insurance job.there was a case a while ago of a women who sued her husband because she fell after he failed to clear the ice away.
since they were both insured under the same policy it was thrown out of court.

You can't sue yourself. You would be both the plaintiff and defendant. Sorry about the damage to the home.
I know quite a number of people whose property was severely damaged and within 2-3 days they had adjusters at the house and got construction started. Has the insurance company been to your house yet? Also, if there is significant damage to your home, why are you living there? I know a few people that had to leave because the property wasn't safe.
As far as I know you cannot sue yourself,I worked in an insurance office and I remember the claims person telling clients this. You can put in a claim for damages to your home. My mom fell in her house and broke her tibia and she asked me if she could put in a claim under her homeowners insurance. I called her broker and they told me know because it's like suing yourself. I would keep calling your insurance company and explain to them that you received damage to yourslef and your home and keep asking them when an adjuster is going to cometo your home. Theadjuster will not fox the damage to your home but they will assess thr damages and how much $$$ the damages are worth. They can recommend someone to come fix the damages but ultimately it is up to you to hire someone for that. I am sorry your house was damaged and I am sorry you were hurt too. What damages were done to your home and yourself??
On Long Island, you can sue anyone... often. I'm sure you'll find a good Litigator for your case:
J. Smith, Plaintiff
vs.
J. Smith, Defendant
I advise you sue for millions too. Make yourself understand, you will not be violated.
