We used Sears once and carpets took two days to dry. Neighbor recommended Royal Carpet Care in West Babylon and they were very good. Used them twice since.
I used Proserve and was happy though lately I have been doing it myself with a rental and the carpets look great.(only have carpets in bedrooms so not a lot of heavy traffic) I would use Proserve again for my oriental rug though.
Looking to get my Carpet cleaned. Stanley Steam, Sears? Any suggestions.
Hello
When it comes to carpet, upholstery and furniture cleaning, two businesses are repeatedly talked about and used. These two businesses are Stanley Steamer and Sears carpet cleaning services. But which one is better? Before you can make your choice, there are many things to consider and weigh.
Similarities
The first and biggest similarity is that both Sears and Stanley Steemer provide a satisfaction guarantee on their services. Though there are some minor differences, the two processes are almost exactly the same. Heat, special cleaning supplies and state-of-the-art cleaning equipment are available in both processes. The reputation of these two companies for providing outstanding services is undeniable
Differences
There are minor differences in the carpet cleaning processes of the two companies: a difference in the cleaning solutions themselves and the names of the different steps and products used. The next difference is that of the equipment. Though both use modern techniques and instruments, Sears boasts equipment that is attached to their trucks and vans, making it a "higher powered" process
