we decided to spend two days photographing some really nice lesser known places in long island.
it was sooooo hot so it was hard to spend to much time outdoors.
we started at caumsett state park, then the vanderbilt mansion and planeterium and ended at the butterfly house at sweetbriar preserve.

next stop was the vanderbilt , what an awesome planeterium show

Beautiful! The photos of the Vanderbilt Museum brought back childhood memories...we always took school trips there.

they just finished pumping 4 million bucks into renovating it. 3 of the 4 went into the planeterium .
