HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I spend a little time in Nassau County and I have to say, the people who work at some of the military facilities there CLAIM Senator Clinton kept their doors open when they were being considered for closure. Honestly, the rest of us having to foot the bill for those facilities would MUCH rather they close.

If Clinton had the will of the people she would have 20,000 attending her rallies and corporations would be against her!
If by "businessman" you mean silver-spoon handed everything egomaniacal authoritarian - then OK. Clinton's Wall St funding choice has everything to do with an establishment pick versus the guy who's going to tank the economy. They would fund anyone besides Trump.

Is that hard for you to understand?

"will of the people" is subjective at best.

Screwing over Wall Street's little "growth at all costs even if it destroys America" racket != "tanking the economy". I fully expect the stock market to take a dive when corporations can no longer exploit cheap immigrant labor, replace American STEM majors with H-1B indentured servants, and build their shoddy products in Asian sweatshops. Boo hoo. We will all be better off in the long term.

He hasn't spent a dime on the campaign and in fact has used campaign money to pay his own companies, but I digress (really I could care less about that). He's got lawsuits pending against him all over. But sure, he's Teflon, above it all. In the eyes of many desperate sheep, apparently.

The hedge funders behind her (if they are?) because they KNOW his economic "plan" [sic] will tank the living crap out of the economy and probably bury the stock market. All the negatives about Clinton, true as they are, do not in any way make Trump tolerable.

They both laugh at the "will of the people." It's all "rigged" remember. Electoral college and all that. Otherwise, Bernie Sanders would probably be President in a month. Heck, in this race, Bernie would look like a Saint. lol
TBQH I don't really buy his tax return excuse either, but not for the reasons you're citing. The average voter has no experience with running businesses and the intricacies of the US tax code. They jumped all over Romney for paying a ~11% effective tax rate even though he wasn't doing anything illegal. They've already jumped on Trump for bankrupting less than 5 corporations of the hundreds he started, which is a great record for an entrepreneur but sounds scary to the average mensch. Like we're supposed to feel bad for wealthy venture capitalists and commercial banks that got burned? Them's the breaks when you get into risky enterprises.

My fall? No, merely regurgitating sentiment at the time. Pay close attention to the wording used by AfriqueNY:

How is this hyperbole any different than the example I dragged up from 2012?

I didn't pay close attention to her wording, but the spirit of what she's suggesting is very different from the spin on Obama's words. Trump is a true authoritarian and it's quite easy to see "A Freedom Force" in Trump's stop & frisk America versus Obama's proposed expansion of the peace corps.

"Stop and Frisk" was here long before Trump contemplated this farcical run.

As for a proposed expansion of the peace corps -- did that include the JV team?

I was trying to be funny with the whole "freedom force" copyright thingy. Lol. I live history and Trump isnt any different from those who have come and gone in the past. Some Americans still long for a time where they had the upper hand. Its a competitive world now and the genie is out of the bottle . My point was that even little children understand the phrase "Equal Rights andbJustice for All". Trump is advocating policy that would shatter that ideal . Fellow Long Islanders please point out why I am wrong. Thanks.
