I live in the Hamlet of Islip. Very Nice town. There aren't any undesirable areas that I have seen. I really love the homes off of Main Street, very quaint and they have that old charm look. The taxes are more in that area. There are some nice restaurants on main street as well. Where exactly are you looking?
