That is the worst. You can't even open your eyes no matter where you look in that yard.

luminaire has many meanings, are you a lawyer that writes town code? No.. neither am I so lets not pretend to be...

Oh and hear you go..just for starters...this is from huntington

§ 143-7
Outdoor lighting in non-residentially-utilized properties; requirements

No luminaire shall be located or concentrated so as to produce glare or direct illumination across the boundary lines of the property nor shall any such light create a nuisance or hazard or detract from the use and enjoyment of adjacent property.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guess your wait is over
This is closely tied for the dumbest thing I'll read all year.

A) I mention permits, because once you have solar panels installed, they are then inspected by the town to ensure they meet all applicable town codes. The fact that the solar panels exist is simple evidence that there is no violation

B) Did you bother to read what you quoted? Specifically where it says, "NON RESIDENTIALLY utilized properties"?

C) Even if that did apply (it doesn't), a solar panel is, by simple definition, not a luminaire. A luminaire is a light fixture. A solar panel would not meet even the vaguest definition.

D) Good luck convincing anyone that a minute or two of glare creates a hazard or detracts from anyone's usage of their property.
