What do you all consider to be the best eateries within walking distance of a LIRR station? Needs to be within 1/4 mile from the station.

Please restrict your choice to what you consider to be the best! No need to defend your choice.

TIA!

No specific line. I am interested in any restaurant near any of the LIRR stations, from Woodside to Montauk.

St. James in Mineola. Haven't been there in years but I doubt it's changed much.

There are a few places to eat on 7th St in Garden City - Leo's (would avoid), 7th St Cafe, 7th St deli.

There is supposed to be a historic casual small eatery right near the Speonk station. I saw it highlighted on news 12. Everything is supposed to be made fresh in this restaurant.

Also Gateway Deli just about a block or so north of the Wantagh station
