Rep. Santos announced his intention to run again next year, in a post on Twitter: “ANNOUNCEMENT: I am proudly announcing my bid for reelection for #NY03. This is about TAKING BACK our country and restoring greatness back to New York.”

Anyone out there not laughing?

Hate to admit it, but Santos makes Trump look good.

I don’t know what he’s thinking he will get blown out in the primary SMH

With all the absurdities going on in the world today, this actually would fall somewhere in the middle. People like Santos likely see equal or even more absurd situations meeting with success, and can anyone say with 100% certainty ex-president Trump will not run or be elected again, and/or that Santos will not regain office?

A narcissistic individual may act like this, or a person with normal intelligence and mental health that is betting on a society gone completely mad with "full circle" absurdity. A world similar to Samuel Beckett's "Waiting For Godot".

It's funny how you all attack Santos and, yes, he lied about a bunch of nonsense as far as many of his constituents are concerned...but he hasn't ONCE deviated from his stated policy positions when he was running for office and has voted exactly how we conservatives in his district wanted him to.

If BJ Bill Clinton can disgrace the oval office literally and figuratively, Santos' verbal lies are a pittance compared to what that sob did. And yet Clinton is still hailed as a hero to the wackjob left.

WE WANT GEORGE!!!

Lots of wishful thinking and wishful reporting regarding Santos and resignation have come to naught.

Everyone laughs, but this genius.

1. He can use campaign funds for a lot of his daily activities now as long as they are related to the campaign
2. If he's the best the party had to offer in a year that was all hands on deck, he probably knows there is nobody waiting to take his spot.
3. He knows that even if the party publicly denounces him, in the end they'll back his campaign because the alternative is surrendering the seat to the democrats

Yup he waited out the news outrage cycle and the media insanity then for a few months no one paid any attention to him anymore until the media moved on to the next outrage of the day. He will very likely serve his full term but likely won’t have a prayer in the primary

In the past I would agree with you, but, now I am not so sure.

Uhhhh, what about the fact that our current president, had to withdrawal from a previous presidential race due to lying? They're all a bunch of liars. I find it comical that santos got away with this.
