If for nothing else, that is why Mazi Pilip is the better choice.

And if Suozzi really wants to be with the moderates, he should consider changing parties to the Republicans. That is increasingly where the moderates are these days. And nothing says you have to be absolutely loyal to just one party your entire life.

5-7 inches forecast for CD3 tomorrow. That’s bad news for Mazi as she needs big Election Day turnout to win

After the George Santos debacle, why did they nominate a woman unknown to most people and who has issues with her finances and taxes? They couldn't find anyone who had a squeaky clean background? I also don't trust her in that she's a registered Democrat. That said, we know Suozzi will vote the strict party line and he's already on record being against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Mazi Pilip can't be worse than him.

Because she checks a lot of the “boxes”. It’s the stupid GOP playing by the lefts rules which almost never works. Although I agree she’s certainly better that suozzi who will play centrist then vote like AOC when he’s told to.

It will be interesting to see how the snow impacts things today.

One would think same day vote would lean Republican as that is the general trend, although I'd think LI may be an outlier on that and more Repubs participate in the early vote here vs the national average.

The count by registration shows more dems have early voted and mail in than GOP as usual. There is a significant amount of non party voters too that of course we don’t know who they broke for. The snow will depress turnout on both sides but the GOP needs turnout more today than the Dems do.

I voted at 6:15 a.m. and there were people voting at that hour. No waiting but a pretty good turnout so early during a snowstorm.
