To the best of my knowledge there are no "MEAN GIRLS" aka L. Lohan movie type here. However, middle school girls are just about the meanest creatures ever created, no matter what school you go to. My daughter made it through pretty happy as the "new" girl in 8th grade. She's having a great time in high school too. Next time I'm at the school, Sean, I'll look for those "short skirts and high heeled shoed" mean girls. Since it's a bit cold, I'm thinking I'll see mostly jeans and boots. I'll let you know though!

How true. The 6th grade girls in my son's class were so terrible to one another. My youngest is in 5th and a few of the young darlings are starting to sprout claws. My daughter's friend's mom confided that her daughter has already experienced the "we're friends today, we hate you tomorrow" stuff. It appears that most of the claws are popping in the girls whose families are all about appearances and materialism.

My seatbelt is fastened. The next few years are going to be a bumpy ride. Good lord, boys are SO much easier.

The NOT part is in Port Jeff/Port Jeff Station/Comsewogue Schools.

3V, PJ Schools and Mt Sinai are all Blue Ribbon.

No probs

Its Night and Day.

Port Jeff Village is to Port Jeff Station as Cold Spring Harbor is to Huntington Station.

PJ Schools (and 3V) are OUTSTANDING.
Comsewogue not so much.

If youre looking for North Shore with Good schools and affordability I would look to Miller Place or Rocky Point.

Crooks

No problem

Port Jeff Village (and extending a small area outside of the Village proper) is the Port Jeff School District. Heading up the hill out of PJV and into PJ Stn you'll encounter the end of the PJSD and the start of the Comsewogue district.

PJSD is small, and yes, is fairly affluent.
