Forest City Community Park, Wantagh (Nassau: design, dog park, area)

Hi all,

I've been looking around online for information regarding whether or not dogs are allowed at the Forest City Park in Wantagh. Nothing is specified on the Wantagh site or the Parks Dept. site. I can't seem to find this information, in general, about the parks in Nassau County.

At the moment, I'm looking specifically for this park in Wantagh but would love to know if there's a list or something for all the parks in the county.

If you are in that general area, Wantagh Park has a dog park; a designated area for dogs. I think Cedar Creek does too.

I can confirm that Cedar Creek has a dog park. I'm sure Forest City doesen't have a dedicated area for dogs, no idea if they are allowed in the park.

go to the park and see, most times things like that are posted.

thanks! we're actually in east rockaway and were hoping to go see some free concerts at the park with the dog, so i don't think that's going to work either way. oh well.
