I heard Neptune's is being shut down and Southampton Town is going to rezone the area to prevent any bars from opening in that location ever again. Too many problems over the years with the various bars at that location, the past summer they basically had to have an entire shifts worth of Southampton Town PD officers on a permanent basis just to control that one bar.

What was the CPI called back in the late 70s/early 80s ? Oak Beach Inn East, something like that ? It had a bar that seemed to be a quarter mile long. I drove by there last Friday , looked shuttered. Is it still open in summers ?

No clue I'm 27 As far as if it is still open in the summers, it is. The name changed from CPI to Whitehouse for the Summer of 07.

I think CPI's and OBI are 2 different things. I am 27, but yes I have been to the Oak Beach Inn. It isn't open anymore. I don't know why...but my parents used to bring me there when I was a kid...and they had karaoke.
