Hi there, my spouse and I will be moving to Los Angeles within the next couple months and I have only spent time at the airport. I'm looking for some ideas as to where to live. We are looking for at least a one bedroom for $1500 ish price that is within a 1.5 hour drive to LAX. We are in our mid 30s and would prefer an area that is walkable, if possible, with restaurants, bars, shopping, things to do close by. Any info would help, I really don't even know where to start.

Just curious, why you are moving here without having ever been here? Job transfer? Or just doing something crazy?

Yeah, information would be good. Will anyone be working or have to commute anywhere?

So are you moving to Seattle, or LA? Your post history leads me to believe all of our responses will be wasted breath.

No you're not.

But the Santa Monica Pier is very walkable, keep heading west.

So why did you waste your breath? If you don't intend to help why would you even post?
