The Kings just know when to turn it on. I just don't get worried anymore. This team loves digging themselves into a hold and digging themselves out of it.

It almost feels like a gameplan at this point. Spot the other team a lead and let them feel good about themselves for a moment and then demoralize them with a dominating comeback.

if NYR plays like they did in the 3rd period in any more games, this is going to be a Quick series. (pun intended)

Yup. For the first two periods I was a little worried that their quick play would throw us off. But that third period showed what kind of adjustments we made and really controlled the rest of the game.

I started watching the Kings when Gretzky came- my favorite player; never recovered from the Montreal loss in the Stanley Cup finals.

Kings had an 1-0 series lead over the Canadiens, but the turning point was when Marty McSorley was caught with an illegal curvature on his stick. Montreal went on to win it at the Montreal Forum (my favorite all-time NHL arena) in Game 5.

Although Gretzky led the league in playoff scoring, It was Patrick Roy who won the Conn Smythe Trophy (playoff MVP).

NYR had a pretty weak regular season as a home team, so I'm hoping the hammer is brought down tonight.
