I have a job in Irvine, where should I live.

I heard Huntington Beach, Newport peninsula, or even long beach. However, long beach isn't very attractive and I recieved not-so-good vibes in Huntington Beach. I have yet to visit the peninsula.

About me: AA male, 22y/o, professional from East Coast. Budget $900/month on rent, I plan to get roommates. I enjoy politics, sports and film, where will I find people most similar to myself that is close to my job.

I'm not a fan of the OC in general, honestly. I think you should give Long Beach a second chance. Did you see the Belmont Shore area? I love it there! Lots of young people, but not the same vibe as Huntington. Newport is too uppity for me.
