Not 10 or 20 years ago. Now. And I'm talking about LA County cities. I'll put it in a poll too for fun.

Let's define dangerous.

"The city where one would most likely be subject to crime or the threat thereof at any hour of the day".

According to this website, which tracks violent crimes in the last six months, the most dangerous neighborhoods are almost exclusively in South Central (or should I say South LA...err, SoLa).

I think the OP is just listing several LA County cities - East hollywood would be covered under "Los Angeles" but Weho is a separate city. It has higher crime rates because it has such an enormous visitor population, much of which comes to party.

Interesting to take a poll, when all you have to do is look up the data to find out the actual stats.

If you weight your poll for driving than Glendale would be at the top!

Per capita it’s Compton because Los Angeles as a city is super huge , but the most violent neighborhoods are in South Central ( South Los Angeles )
