I walked two miles, and got a little tan. I saw a lot of suckers in their automobiles who didn't know what they were missing.

funny you should ask. i sat around at home for half the afternoon, thinking that i really ought to be out enjoying the sunshine, but not being sure what i felt like doing. by the time i figured out where i wanted to go, it was too late to drive there and spend any time outdoors before dark. i ended up picking up some take-out and coming back home. total waste of gorgeous only-in-LA summer in the wintertime day! tommorow won't be as warm, but if it's as sunny, i'm getting out early.

Well, here in Marin it was near 70 which is great for us.

I spent the day cleaning the house and running saturday errands. Nothing out of the ordinary but I put the top down on my convertible for the first time this year so that was cool.

I went to a park overlooking the San Fernando Valley and took pictures. It was incredibly relaxing, and I enjoyed how quiet it was - just the breeze ruffling through the trees, and some birds here and there. Ah, peace!

I have no business responding since I'm sitting in -7 temps with 30MPH winds, however, when we get to LA (March 5th) we plan on enjoying the fact that you can go outside and walk on real pavement. In the past 3 months we have spent maybe 2 hours outdoors, and that was probably scraping the car off
Talk about cabin fever!Hahaha!!!

OMG, I don't know how you do it. I complain enough about living here in Baltimore and compared to the midwest our winters are mild. I'm definitely looking forward to being in sunny California in a few short weeks.
