WTF?

Los Angeles County is 50% minority (Hispanic, Asian, Black, etc). Are you sure you live in SoCal?

OP probably never leaves the house and knows like 10 people and they are all white, so LA must be all white.

It's funny that people say LA is "white" I know I see African American people there whenever I visit.

LA is diverse but extremely segregated, that's probably why OP felt that way since he lived in a white neighborhood.

It's the same way in San Francisco but if you travel around the city doing errands, you cannot miss minority populations around the city.

I lived in SF and thought it was the complete opposite. It's much more intermingled than SF, but it's also much smaller

White, really? From the many times I've been to LA it is mostly latino, asian, and black and some white but not much. Mexicans are the majority now in most parts of LA followed by lots of Asians and blacks.

^^ This ^^
I was surprised when I moved to SoCal six years ago. I landed in East Long Beach and thought wow this place is really white except the statistics show that LB is pretty diverse. But they aren't all that integrated. You find more pockets and clumps here. Where I grew up in Houston (behind the space center) we had a variety of everyone on our street. It's what I was used to.

Hopefully you have AC too cuz it was 90 degrees on thanksgiving day last year. Another extremely rude awakening for this east coaster.

But on the bright side, crime is MUCH lower here. Sheltered LA folk will complain because theyre naive and have never seen real cities like DC, Baltimore, Philly, and NYC. (Although major caveat here is the homeless shooting up heroin on every corner. At least the homeless on the east coast are just alcoholics.)

Also this place is WHITE. Having lived in the south and DC, its strange to live in such a white place. But LA is mostly midwestern people that have no clue what racial diversity is.
Too White? Lmao ummmm alright. If you want "too white" go to my home county in Oregon...94.5% white
